Bayfield is booming in the fall.

Fall in Bayfield is warm and vibrant, with changing leaves, but the sun still shines. With family activities like exploring local orchards and beaches, hiking, biking, or heading to the ATV trails, plenty is happening around town to do and see before the snow flies.

  • Applefest - First full weekend in October. This is Bayfield’s largest event of the year. The town itself is road-blocked and filled with vendors for anything you can think of. Food trucks, ice cream vendors, hand-dipped caramel apples, and fresh, local apple cider are set up and down the entire street. On Sunday of the festival, there is a parade through town showcasing local school bands, dance teams, small businesses, and first responders from both Bayfield and Red Cliff.
